Successful Osaka BO Conference 2019
More than 50 participants from almost 20 companies followed the invitation of Brückner for the “Osaka BO Conference 2019”. Well-known film producers, business partners and converters from Japan came for this special event to Osaka. The aim of the conference was to give insights in the latest technology standards and market developments within the BO-sector with the focus on sustainability and environment. As very positive feedback was received by the audience this event may form a platform for an exchange of developments and market trends also in the future.
The BO Conference has been opened by the welcome speeches of Helmut Huber, COO Sales & Project Management Brückner Maschinenbau, Andreas Waldner, Director After sales and Service Brückner Servtec, and Kiyoshi Fujii san, Director and General Manager of the Industrial Machinery Group.
The technical part of the conference started with the Key Note speaker Dr. Jürgen Breil, BO-Film Consulting. He provided details about the current situation on sustainability & recycling in the complete supply chain, new packaging film types (e.g. BOPE, BOPP multi-layer, BOPP inline coated and recyclable shrink sleeves) and latest technical film types (e.g. capacitors, solar back sheets, battery separators).
After that, Manuel Neuss, Regional Service Manager Brückner Servtec, presented service and upgrade solutions for existing film stretching lines:
- Linear motor Winding System (LIWIND®) for perfectly wound mill rolls for all film types
- Professional clip & chain refurbishment service for highest line availability
- Smart services with the new Digital Service Platform for spare parts, maintenance, remote service and monitoring
Mr. Masaki Kishino san, Division Manager ITOCHU Machine-Technos, introduced the technical department of ITOCHU and their solutions for new line and upgrade support. Additionally, he showed many references of already implemented projects with Brückner. It became clear, that ITOCHU is the perfect partner for Brückner in Japan for the benefit of our customers.
Heinz Lind, Technical Director Brückner Servtec, and Boris Pasternack, Sales Manager Brückner Maschinenbau, introduced newest film developments with focus on recyclability and film integration. Finally, Reinhard Priller, Sales Director Brückner Maschinenbau, presented “Easy Operation” – Brückner’s answer to Industry 4.0, which offers intuitive line operation with operator guidance and ease of use.
