After a 5-year break and the challenges of a 3-year epidemic, the Brückner Open House China finally took place again. From 27th to 29th August, the Chinese film-stretching industry gathered in Suzhou. More than 180 delegates discussed the latest trends and the journey towards a sustainable future.
In their welcome speeches, Markus Gschwandtner (CEO Brückner Servtec) and Uwe Thönniss (CEO Brückner Group China) both emphasized the strong partnership between Brückner and its customers and expressed their gratitude for the understanding and support received, especially in challenging times.
The second day was dedicated to learning, with 8 presentations by German experts who introduced Brückner Servtec services, shared global market information, presented new Brückner technologies, discussed future trends in the biaxial-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) business and introduced products that customers could invest in.
Throughout the evening, participants had the opportunity to network and socialize with other industry professionals at the Appreciation Dinner with lively entertainment provided by a German band.
The China Open House concluded on 29 August with a half-day Q&A session, where customers asked valuable questions based on the presentations, covering topics such as extruder start-up software upgrades, details of clean oven solutions and polyethylene monostructure materials. Face-to-face meetings were also held to discuss specific projects, which proved helpful in securing orders.
The event once again highlighted the strong bond between Brückner and its customers and underlined Brückner's commitment to providing valuable information and advanced technology.
We thank all customers for their participation and look forward to the next Open House 2025!
