Brückner’s professional clip and chain overhaul service is well known and established in the biax industry around the world. The service reduces the maintenance downtime and keeps the clip and chain assets in an excellent shape - fit for a very long service life. In the recent past, more and more large Chinese film manufacturers make use of the overhaul service as part of their preventive maintenance program.  

Flexible concepts for individual customers

Various requirements from customers in China are met with custom-tailored solutions from the service team of Brückner Group China in order to maximize the customer’s benefit.   Brückner offers rental chain services in combination with the chain and clip overhaul. During the overhaul of the line chain, the customer can use the rental chain for production. Consequently, the line’s downtime is minimized to the exchange of the chain / rental chain. In case there are more lines at a site, the rental chain may circulate through all lines, until they are all refurbished and up-to-date again. Such procedure saves investment costs for a new chain and is currently successfully used at a site in China with six BOPET film production lines.   Instead of a rental chain from Brückner, some customers with more lines in their fleet, invest their own spare chain, which circulates during the overhaul process in the customer’s lines in order to have lowest downtime at clip and chain refurbishment.  

Of course, it is also possible to do only the cleaning and / or overhaul of the clips and / or chains without a spare chain. The customer is free to select the concept, which fits best to the individual situation. Several satisfied customers in China already decided for the clip and chain service, amongst them are Hengli Group, Jiangsu Xingye Juhua, Shaoxing Riyue New Materials, Zhejiang Shaoxing Huadong Packing, Zhongshan Wing Ning Film, and others.

Furthermore, as announced in June, Brückner headquarters also established a competence center for clip and chain overhaul worldwide. This includes a spare parts storage management among the four Brückner clip and chain overhaul locations worldwide and leads to more efficient and economic processes. The customers benefit from increased spare parts availability and faster delivery time for the overhaul.
