At this year’s Chinaplas, the world's leading plastics fair for the Asian world, Brückner Servtec, together with Brückner Group China, presented, for the first-time, local service solutions such as process audits, enhanced spare parts stocks and the certified clip and chain refurbishment workshop in Suzhou under the motto "In China for China".
The booth was once again very well attended by a vast number of visitors from China and abroad demonstrating the overwhelming international attractiveness of the fair. Our teams from China and Germany held in-depth discussions on various topics. A highlight was the signed agreement for a multilayer upgrade of a BOPET line and a successful deal for Brückner’s clip and chain refurbishment.
Throughout the whole show, the booth was filled with a positive business climate, encouraging networking, meaningful conversations, and collaboration among industry professionals.
The services offered by Brückner Servtec for further investments in existing film stretching lines provided a lot of inspiration and were intensively discussed, with four hot topics in focus:
- Local clip and chain refurbishment:
To increase uptime, a professional maintenance of the ‘heart of the BO line’ is vital. Thus, the highlights of the exhibition were the presentation of clip and chain samples - before and after overhaul - at the booth and the associated certified workshop for clip and chain refurbishment in Suzhou, which both attracted huge interest from visitors and led to great conversations. - Large service team "in China for China":
During the four days of the show, we received great feedback from our customers that the fast service support provided by the experts of the Brückner Group China, in cooperation with the headquarter in Siegsdorf, is very important for fully utilizing the production lines. - Line transformation to alternative film structures or polymers:
Alternative film types, such as PET-G or current collector film, and the transformation to multi-layer structures for improved film qualities have been widely discussed, showcasing Brückner’s high competencies, which offer great potential for customers to stay ahead. - Line audits for continuous optimization:
Many discussions focused on comprehensive audits, which provide a detailed assessment of the current condition of the equipment, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and film process issues. This is followed by recommendations for an economical and future-proof production with maximum efficiency and film quality
In addition to Chinaplas, Brückner's legendary ‘Paulaner Party’, well known in the industry, attracted many customers and partners to the Paulaner Wirtshaus on Shanghai’s North Bund. The ‘friends meet friends’ event provided again an excellent opportunity to intensify relationships on a more familiar basis in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, accompanied by traditional Bavarian drinks, food, and music performances.
We were pleased with the high number of visitors and the quality of the discussions at our booth, which significantly exceeded our expectations. This success underscores the strong interest in the innovative solutions of Brückner Servtec and the importance of face-to-face interactions for maintaining business relationships.
