Thematic focus is on advanced upgrade and retrofit solutions for Brückner and non-Brückner lines, which improve energy efficiency, operational availability and long-term performance. Additional highlights address sustainable multilayer film structures for packaging applications, alongside innovations for advanced technical film solutions.

Modular upgrades for line transformation and product expansion
Targeted retrofit solutions for tomorrow’s state-of-the-art Biax film stretching lines:
Inline coating upgrade (ILC): With layer thicknesses in the nanometer range, new formulas improve printability and take the barrier properties of BOPP films to a new level. In recent years, Brückner Maschinenbau and Brückner Servtec have commissioned more than 25 ILC systems globally that support the production of recyclable mono-material packaging.
BOPE upgrade: The enhanced concept supplements existing BOPP lines with the option of producing LLD-PE and HD-PE – crucial for mono-material solutions and simplified recycling.
PLA / PHA upgrade: Brückner Servtec’s enhanced line conversion concept clearly identifies PET and PA lines as the most suitable candidates for adaptation to home-compostable bioplastic film production. This enables film manufacturers to meet rising consumer and regulatory demands while tapping into new market opportunities for sustainable packaging.
